Rail wheel balancing is demanding. Historically weights were fixed around the tire to bring into balance. This was a drill, tap the hole and bolt on a weight process. As a development we provided a clamp on cutter which shaved off a precise volume of material. This system introduces no failure points around the wheel rim.
We have a full engineering design capacity. Generally we use Solid Works which means we can supply 3D images with the ability to rotate.
We have in house 3D printing and regularly supply samples. We use this facility to make parts as well. We can fabricate one off samples and can machine most parts in house.
We offer machining and fabricating for both one off, small batch and volume requirements.
We have regular repeat orders from around the world. So far we have been able to compete for and complete orders.
