About Unalock

Unalock is a simple system comprising a nut with a conical (slotted) lower section and a compression ring. The compression ring clips to the nut to complete the assembly. The Unalock is threaded to a bolt with the compression ring facing into the bolt. As the Unalock is tightened the compression ring is forced up the cone. This action forces the legs of the conical section inward and presses them into the bolt thread to grip the bolt. This forms a circular vice. The legs squeeze together to grip the bolt.

This vibration proof fastener can be used in any assembly at any size. We even make a blind bolting system which is vibration proof. Ask us about it!
