Rail Drilling Systems
The rail industry worldwide has a constant need to drill holes in rail track so that operators can join track lengths (fish plating), bonding (completing an electrical circuit), fitting monitoring systems etc. This applies to all countries, in all weather conditions and in all track profiles.

About the Project
High quality holes must be positioned accurately in any rail and material. The industry needs a universal rail drill capable of being used anywhere. So, one system for all rails and all materials.
Our response has been a rugged design with interchangeable shoes to match any rail profile. A capability to cut holes up to 36mm diameter means all necessary hole sizes are covered. Clamping systems cover all types of rail including tram rail and crane rail. We have options for drilling in restricted spaces. We have even supplied specially designed equipment (hydraulic) for a difficult nuclear facility project.
All power options are covered: Gasoline engines in both 2-stroke and 4-stroke, 100v and 240v mains, battery powered, hydraulic.
We supply rail cutters for both standard and head hardened rail as well as turnouts. We developed a specific cutter form for American head hardened rail.
